Who?

While growing up in a small town in North Dakota, I was always fascinated with corporate logos and advertising. My fascination with those things combined with my drawing, technical, and design skills drove me to pursue a career in Graphic Design. In September 2004, I acheived my Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design from the Art Institutes International Minnesota in Minneapolis, and it continues to be my life’s ambition. On the side, art history has become a great fascination of mine and I enjoy learning about art and design of the past. My long-term goal is to be a teacher, either passing on knowledge of art history some day, or simply teaching modern design.

What?

When not fiddling with Adobe Illustrator or debating on internet message boards how much the new UPS logo sucks, I enjoy long-distance running, hard rock music, movies, pretty much all forms of auto racing, video games, learning, reading murder mystery and suspense novels as well as political commentary from both sides of the political spectrum. My greatest interest in life is art, I enjoy drawing & sketching, digital art, and I have been known to be a regular patron of the arts and again - I love learning about art history.

Where?

The upper midwest is home - I grew up in North Dakota and I currently live in Minneapolis with my beloved girlfriend Elizabeth and our siamese cat Logan. Hopefully I won’t be here in Minnesota forever, and I certainly don’t intend to be, because I really like mountains, and there aren’t any mountains here.
